Artgen Biotech (MOEX: ABIO) has become a partner of the University of Entrepreneurs, a joint initiative of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.
The grand opening took place in Moscow on September 18, 2025, at the Lomonosov Cluster.
The University of Entrepreneurs project, launched at the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin, brings together business, science, and talented students. Its mission is to create innovative products that can transform urban and national life in the near future. The project aims at significantly reducing the cost and time required for developing new technologies, provide a strong impetus for the growth of technological businesses, and advance the country's technological leadership.
Over 300 students are already participating in 20 workshops across eight leading Russian universities: Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Higher School of Economics, Sechenov University, NUST MISIS, Skoltech, NRNU MEPhI, and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. A key component of the program is the workshops, where prominent Russian businessmen, leveraging the scientific developments and infrastructure of partner universities, collaborate with students to develop new business projects. Priority areas for new developments include information technology, artificial intelligence, new materials and additive manufacturing, cybersecurity, food technology, and biomedicine.
Artgen Biotech, in collaboration with Sechenov University, will establish a workshop for scientific research and the development of original pharmaceuticals and vaccines.
According to Sergey Masyuk, Director of Artgen Biotech: "Participation in the program and collaboration with Sechenov University will allow Artgen to identify complementary projects for the development of original drugs and vaccines."
