Artgen Seed Fund, the seed venture fund of Artgen Biotech (MOEX: ABIO), will provide a convertible loan of RUB 6 million to the project "Dolgozhitel" (Long-liver) — a digital platform building infrastructure for the elderly care services market. The crowdinvesting platform brainbox.vc acted as the organizer of this investment round. Through it, private investors also have the opportunity to invest in the project for a total amount of RUB 9 million. Thus, the total volume of the round will be RUB 15 million. Artgen Seed Fund acts as the lead investor in the transaction.

"Dolgozhitel" is a digital platform building infrastructure for the elderly care services market. The service connects families, nursing homes, and service companies, allowing users to find, compare, and arrange care through a single digital interface.

According to the company, the platform demonstrates approximately 25% month-over-month revenue growth and processes more than 8,000 requests per year. The project team previously built and scaled an e-commerce business with a turnover of more than RUB 2 billion.

The funds raised will be directed toward the development of the "Dolgozhitel" technology platform, expansion of the partner network, and scaling of the service in the emerging long-term care services market.

According to Russian Federal State Statistics Service, the population of Russia aged 65 and over increased from 14.6 million people at the beginning of 1990 to 25.8 million people at the beginning of 2025 — from 9.9% to 17.7% of the total population. According to demographic forecasts, by 2035-2045, the proportion of people over 65 will exceed one quarter of the country's population.

According to RBC, the Russian Ministry of Labor estimates the total addressable market for long-term care services in Russia at approximately RUB 330 billion per year, including government funding and private payments. The potential need for long-term care services is estimated at approximately 3 million Russian pensioners over 60, of which about 600,000 people require permanent residential care.

"The private nursing home market in Russia is already RUB 30 billion per year, with 50,000 beds — and that's just the tip of the iceberg. But the main problem is not the numbers, it's the people: families under stress search for options blindly, while nursing homes sit empty. We are building a service where guaranteed placement becomes the norm, not a lottery. A 30% increase in online searches over two years confirms that the market is ready for transparent solutions," adds Alexey Aniko, founder of the "Dolgozhitel" platform.

"We are witnessing the formation of a new segment at the intersection of medicine, social services, and digital technologies. Such projects are building the infrastructure of the future market. Our goal as an investor is not only to finance teams but also to help them implement solutions into practical healthcare and scale their businesses," comments Arthur Isaev, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Artgen Biotech.

"We are observing growing interest from private investors in technology companies operating in socially significant segments of the economy. Our task is to give private investors the opportunity to participate in such deals and support teams that are building scalable platform solutions," notes Albert Aliev, founder of brainbox.vc.
